Salary: £41,000 per annum

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all stages of building construction projects, from planning and tendering to execution and final delivery. This role involves day-to-day management of contractors, cost control, program scheduling, and ensuring works are carried out in line with specifications, timelines, and safety standards. The Project Manager will liaise closely with consultants, architects, suppliers and site teams to coordinate construction activities and maintain compliance with relevant technical and regulatory standards.

Key duties include reviewing technical drawings, supervising site progress, handling procurement coordination, and resolving construction-related issues. The post-holder will also support the preparation and evaluation of tenders, manage contract variations, monitor risk, and ensure effective reporting throughout the project lifecycle. They will be expected to deliver clear communication across stakeholders, contribute to decision-making and participate in site inspections as required.

The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a closely related field, and have at least five years’ experience in managing or supervising construction projects. A strong understanding of industry standards, construction contracts (such as FIDIC or equivalent), and relevant project management tools is required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple workstreams, lead problem-solving on technical and operational issues, and communicate clearly in English with diverse project teams.
